Sam Kaplan is a junior at Rye High School who enjoys digital art, writing, and sketching.
Sam always loved doodling, but his real interest in art began in the 3rd grade when a friend taught him how to draw little Sonic the Hedgehogs and cut them out to hang on his wall. From this point on Sam rapidly started to create comic books of all sorts. He takes courses in Photography and Graphic Design which introduced him to the idea of creating digital art. After a lot of learning from online videos about Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Sam decided to intern at the Bott Shoppe to expand his knowledge of the art world.
